Everything went great until the penguin parade. Many patrons showed blatant disrespect towards the health and wellbeing of the penguins and I wish the staff had been more strict. There shouldn't be warning after warning for the same people.

As public transportation is limited on Phillip Island, the best way to get to the Penguin Parade would be to come in your own vehicle or a taxi. You can also book tickets that include transfers to take you directly to the parade.

By bus: There is no direct bus to the Penguin Parade. Take the V line bus services from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to get to Cowes, the main town at Phillip Island. From here you will need to take a taxi to reach the Penguin Parade.
By car: It takes approximately 90 minutes to reach Phillip Island from Melbourne. From San Remo Bridge on the island, it takes another 20 minutes to get to the Penguin Parade. Free parking is available at the venue, and four spots are reserved for differently abled visitors.
